Binance doesn’t want to be just an exchange anymore.

A trading chief who spent 30 years at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan has made it clear: the next battle isn’t about who has more coins, but who can fit trading, stocks, payments, lending, and asset management into a single app.

They have 300 million users now, and are aiming for 3 billion. About 90% of users of direct stock and tokenized stock products come from emerging markets.

What they want to do is straightforward: unified accounts, cross-asset margin, and stablecoin payments—so you can spend, borrow against, or earn yield on your underlying assets without selling them. Plus, AI to help you choose assets and manage risk.

Traditional finance has licenses and risk controls; crypto has 24/7 access and instant settlement. Binance is betting the two will merge into one super app.

Going from 300 million to 3 billion isn’t user growth—it’s an ambition to become the bank for half the planet.
