Ledger asked Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis to pause sales and shipments of its hardware wallets while it investigates reports that buyers lost funds. The warning covers recent buyers from the Malaysian shop, which operates in Indonesia and the Philippines, according to BeInCrypto, and Ledger told customers who bought devices in the past 90 days not to set them up or to move funds to a new device with a new seed phrase.

Ledger has not confirmed the $86 million figure or said whether any devices were tampered with. The estimate came from analyst Specter, who said they traced funds from hundreds of victim wallets on Ethereum, TRON and Bitcoin.
