6.26M $BTC public keys exposed on-chain — 31.2% of total supply

Glassnode co-founder Rafael drops data: public key exposure jumped from 24.8% (early 2021) to 31.2% now.

Main culprit? Address reuse. 4.33M $BTC sitting in reused addresses.

Exchange holdings breakdown:
• Coinbase: ~10% exposed
• Binance: 83% exposed
• Bitfinex: 100% exposed

Before you panic — public key ≠ private key leak. Rafael stresses this isn't a security ranking. But still... reusing addresses in 2025? Not ideal OpSec.

If you're holding serious size, rotate your keys. If you're on CEX, you already trust them with custody anyway.
