Friends, take my advice, especially those who haven't read my previous posts.
Friday evening is one of the most dangerous times to trade. If you have little experience, it's better to close your trading platform, step away from the market, and focus on other things. Believe me, it's better to protect your money.
At this time, traders close positions they don't want to hold over the weekend, while prop firms forcibly close trades. The market turns into pure speculation.
What should be rising falls, while what should be falling rises. False divergences and breakouts appear, and familiar technical analysis concepts stop working at a certain point.
The only thing you can still rely on is strong levels confirmed by high volume on higher timeframes. But how often do you come across such levels? Much more often, the price swings between them, triggering stop-losses and luring traders into traps.
By the way, politicians often announce news before the weekend that can sharply increase market risks. It may seem that by Monday emotions will have settled, people will have cooled off, and the markets will have recovered. But such news can break through even strong technical levels, so don’t forget about information risks.
Don’t rely on luck or try to outsmart the market on Friday evening. Protect your deposit and return to trading on Monday with a clear head.
