Let’s talk about ETF creations and redemptions.
ETF shares operate in two markets: ordinary investors buy and sell existing shares on the exchange, while authorized participants (APs) create and redeem shares with the issuer in the primary market.
To be honest, I only understood this later: before buying an ETF, check the fund’s fees, trading volume, and its usual premium or discount range. Don’t just look at the name.
The shares of a spot Bitcoin ETF are backed by $BTC actually held by the issuer. Currently 82556.
Don’t put all your savings into a single project.
