I’ve gone through the rules for Binance Alpha’s STABLE trading competition, so here are the practical details:

First, the schedule (Beijing time): Round 1 starts tonight at 21:00 and runs until October 16 at 21:00. Round 2 runs from October 16 to 23. If you’re seeing this now, there are still a full 7 days left in Round 1.

Rankings are based only on buy volume—sell volume doesn’t count. The top 2,000 traders in each round will split 3.85 million STABLE, giving each person 1,925 tokens.

Two multipliers are key:
First, the early-bird bonus: the earlier you buy, the higher your multiplier. Days 1–2: 2x; days 3–4: 1.8x; day 5: 1.5x; day 6: 1.3x; and the final day: just 1x. If you rack up 10,000 U in buy volume on the first day, it counts as 20,000 U toward your ranking.
Second, the newcomer bonus: if you’ve received Alpha competition rewards fewer than 3 times before, you qualify as a Rising Trader. Your buy volume gets a 1.2x multiplier, up to a limit of 5,000 U. Once you hit that limit, the bonus stops applying.

Three things to watch out for:
1. You must tap Join on the campaign page in the app first. Only trading volume after you join counts; anything before that is wasted.
2. You must trade using Binance Wallet (Keyless) or Alpha itself. Trades through third-party dApps don’t count, and Alpha token-to-token trading volume doesn’t count either.
3. Rewards are paid in STABLE tokens and will be distributed by November 6. You must claim them within 14 days of distribution or they’ll expire.

Bottom line: If you want to take advantage, get started during the first two days of Round 1 to max out the 2x early-bird bonus. If you qualify as a newcomer, stack the 1.2x bonus on top. But don’t force big trades just to climb the rankings—the price swings in STABLE itself could cost you more than those 1,925 tokens are worth.
