🔥 A HISTORIC TECHNICAL OVERHAUL FOR THE SOLANA BLOCKCHAIN ⛓️💥 $JCT $RLC $KAIA
Solana's SIMD-0525 upgrade cuts target slot times from 400 milliseconds down to 200 milliseconds through a staged, four-step reduction (400ms → 350ms → 300ms → 250ms → 200ms).
⚡ This upgrade is mainly about reducing latency and shortening a leader’s control window — not magically doubling throughput or delivering Alpenglow’s promised finality.
👀 The real test is what happens after activation: actual slot times, skip rates and validator performance.
