If a limit order’s price isn’t reached, the order stays on the order book waiting to be filled, and it may only be partially filled.
A market order doesn’t require a specified price. It is filled immediately at the best price currently available on the order book.
Before submitting, double-check the price, quantity, and buy/sell direction. Adding an extra zero or selecting the wrong direction is a common mistake.
