Both bulls and bears are waiting, so let’s pause on the futures side.
On futures, I only watch how crowded the market is—not what people say in chat groups.
There are only three numbers that matter for futures. Everything else is noise.
1. BTC 83122, 24h 80394-83529, change +0.84%.
2. BTC notional open interest: 7.64 billion USD, 24h -3.48%
3. Account-wide long/short ratio: 1.63
My take: The funding rate at 0.0025% is close to zero, and the long/short ratio is 1.63. Leverage hasn’t picked a side. If it hasn’t picked a side, don’t use high leverage to pick one for it.
Execution levels (based on current price ± structure, not an old chart):
- Breakout zone: only consider chasing if it gets above 83,787; below that, it’s a false breakout
- Buy the pullback: 82,124-82,623; don’t buy if it breaks below this range
- No-trade zone: if the 1h candle closes below 81,626, I’m out
My position: I only buy pullbacks; I don’t chase breakouts. If the structure holds, I can keep a core position. Any add-on must wait for the pullback zone.
Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance USDⓈ-M / Yahoo daily (5-day change). Missing figures are left blank.
Would you dare add to your position at this funding rate?
