$RLC The previous post was still tracking a continued decline: at the time, the 24-hour change was -25.2%, the price was 0.7317, and the funding rate was -0.0243%. This time, the whole move has reversed: the current price is 1.0779 USDT, the 24-hour change is up to +48.96%, and the price is about 47% higher than in the previous post.

The cost side—the part that should have turned in the same direction—has instead failed to follow. The price has turned positive throughout the move, but the funding rate has gone from -0.0243% to -0.1547%, further into negative territory than in the previous post. The price is rising while the cost side is leaning further toward the bears; the two measures are not moving in sync.

Trading volume is one of the few things that has kept pace this time: 24-hour turnover is about 49.73 million USDT, nearly double the previous post’s roughly 25.86 million.

The shorter timeframes are choppy. The past four hours are down 1.01%, while the past hour is back up 2.66%; this 4H candle ranges from 1.0166 to 1.1402, a spread of about 12%, so the swings are inherently large.

Two levels will confirm what happens next: if the price gets back above 1.1402 and holds there, then this reversal has a chance to make another leg up; if it falls below 1.0166, the low shared by the one-hour and four-hour timeframes, this move’s structure will start to weaken. The next funding rate settlement is at 00:00 Taipei time. If the reading keeps moving deeper into negative territory, that will mean the cost side has truly picked a side; if it converges toward zero, the divergence will widen again.

Here’s the counterpoint too: 1.0166 has not yet been decisively broken. After a reversal that gained nearly 50% in a day, the swings are naturally large, and this pullback could simply give back part of the previous move. The direction has not really been decided yet.
