🚀 Important news: Starknet is considering becoming an independent Layer 1 network!
The Starknet network has officially announced that it is seriously considering transitioning from a Layer 2 (L2) solution to an independent Layer 1 (L1) network by 2027.
🔹 Main goal: To become the first fully quantum-resistant blockchain network that is compatible with artificial intelligence technologies.
📈 Expected impact on the STRK token:
1️⃣ Increased value and utility: The network’s transition to L1 means that $STRK will become the network’s native token, used to power the network, pay gas fees, and secure the network through broader and more extensive staking.
2️⃣ Independence from Ethereum: Breaking free from Ethereum’s speed and fee limitations could attract more projects and developers directly to the Starknet ecosystem.
3️⃣ Positive long-term outlook: The announcement strengthens the token’s position as a leading project in advanced security and anticipating the future of technology, which could support positive price action in the medium and long term.
What do you think of this move? Do you see it as a turning point in favor of $STRK? 🤔
