When I first got into crypto, I thought rising open interest meant money was flowing in. It took me a while to understand: an increase in open interest only means both longs and shorts are adding positions. Long and short positions are equal, and that’s a different thing from inflows.
Indicators can fail, but stop-losses shouldn’t be optional: thinking ahead about what to do if you’re wrong matters more than whether your prediction is accurate.
