If you can’t go a day without placing a trade, you’re not trading—you’re just gambling in a casino.

The most common mistake beginners make is trying to trade “every single day.” If they have 1,000 U in their account, they can’t resist jumping into a trade whenever they see the candlesticks moving. They hunt for opportunities on the 5-minute chart, flipping back and forth between long and short. By the end of the night, the market hasn’t gone far, but fees and trading friction have eaten away at a big chunk of their capital.

真正的交易高手,绝大多数时间都在像猎手一样耐心等待。

These days, I only look for setups that fit my own “high-conviction” criteria, and I stick firmly to these two rules:

  1. Make no more than 1–2 trades a day. If you lose two trades in a row, close the app immediately and don’t place another trade today.

  2. If you don't understand the market, don't trade it. In a choppy market, it's better to sit on the sidelines and only follow the trend once it breaks out.

Better to miss an opportunity than make a mistake. The crypto market is never short of opportunities; what you need is something to trade when they arise.

Market sentiment is quite jittery right now, with frequent shakeouts. Blindly chasing highs or selling lows can easily get you hit from both sides.
