CL, guys, I think I’ve finally figured it out: this market is just handing money to the shorts. Aggressive selling volume is nearly twice the buying volume, the shady market maker is dumping, and long open interest has shrunk too—what have they got to hold the line with? The funding rate has been negative for eight readings in a row. Shorts are paying to hold their positions and still aren’t scared. Isn’t that enough to tell you something? I strongly suspect these are the market maker’s own short positions. Let’s ride along and make some money together, guys.
