$BTC 200 ten-thousand yuan poured into my parents’ accounts, and my dad didn’t say a word for half a day: The wildest kind of crypto riches is cashing out while you’re still alive!
The best feeling in crypto isn’t doubling your money. It’s getting the money out of the exchange while you’re still in one piece.
That afternoon, I transferred 2 million yuan into my parents’ accounts. My mom clutched the receipt and stared at it for ages. My dad asked where the money came from. I told him I’d pulled out my original investment ages ago; it was all profit, grown from an initial 30,000 U. The room fell silent, and at last I felt at ease. The hardest part of this game isn’t how much you make on a single run. It’s making it through years of ups and downs, still standing, with the money actually home. $ETH
Since then, I’ve stuck to just five rules:
1. If the price breaks the line, get out. Don’t hold on. Accept small losses to stay alive.
2. After five losing trades in a row, shut it down. Once you’re caught up in the heat of the moment, every opportunity looks like a trap.
3. Every time you make 3000 U, withdraw half. If it hasn’t hit your bank account, it’s just a number—and a drawdown can take it all back for you.
4. Trade with the trend only; stay out of sideways markets. If you can’t read the market, sit on the sidelines. Random trades are the quickest way to lose.
5. Risk no more than 10% of your total funds on any single trade. Get too heavily invested, and your emotions blow up first, then your account.
The two million didn’t come from one miraculous trade. It came from cutting losses when I should and withdrawing profits when I should. I’ve posted these five rules in the chat room.
Which rule do you struggle with? Tell me in the comments. I’ll only talk about whether to close this trade and whether to withdraw profits—not about get-rich-quick coins. #以太坊升破2500美元
