When should you go short? Don’t rush into it just yet—the market is showing signs of movement. Let’s break down the reasoning. $US

After the speculative rally in US ended in August, the price didn’t immediately enter a sustained downtrend. Instead of selling off all at once and exiting, funds moved sideways repeatedly near the bottom, making several pushes higher to test the selling pressure above. The signal behind this price action is clear: major players still have a large amount of tokens left to distribute. The distribution phase isn’t over yet, so it’s not time to short with confidence.

On the daily chart, the previous high is at 0.04. The price has made several attempts to break through, but has yet to reach the earlier speculative peak near 0.05. This also confirms that there is strong selling pressure overhead. Every push higher runs into heavy selling, making it difficult to break through the previous rally’s high in one go. $JCT

The price is now consolidating at a high level as it builds momentum for another move. There’s still room for short-term bulls to make a push. If you’re comfortable taking more risk, you could consider opening a small long position, with a stop-loss at the Bollinger Band middle line at 0.026. At this stage, we don’t recommend shorting blindly. Don’t try to call the top too early: until major players have finished distributing their holdings, they could still push the price higher to lure in buyers at any time. Shorting too soon could easily leave you stopped out by a rally.

Wait patiently for further signals. The right time to open a short position is when the major players are nearing the end of their distribution and there’s a clear sign that the price has topped out.
