Where Did That Yield Come From? ๐
This should be an easy question.
In DeFi, it often isn't.
If a vault advertises a return, I want to know whether it came from:
๐ข Lending spreads
๐ข Relative-value opportunities
๐ข Fixed-term positions
๐ข Incentives
Or:
๐ด Hidden leverage
๐ด Directional exposure
๐ด Risk I didn't realize I owned
That's why I like Theoriq emphasizing observable positions and yield attribution across its vault strategies.
As financial applications around $NEAR and other ecosystems become more sophisticated, I think transparency needs to evolve beyond simply showing transactions on a block explorer.
Seeing where money moved isn't enough.
I want to understand why it moved and what generated the return.
That's a much higher standard for onchain finance.
