Melinda French Gates said health and power are “deeply connected for women” and that the world is “way behind on women’s health,” according to Bloomberg. She joined Francine Lacqua on “The Pulse” to discuss new Gallup-Pivotal research.
The research found more than four in ten UK women said their health has kept them from doing everything they wanted to do, with gaps in information and care at key stages of their lives. In the US, more than half of women reported a negative healthcare experience in the past five years. The study was conducted with Pivotal, the group French Gates founded to advance social progress for women and young people.
