Looking at it from the perspective of capital flows:
“Japan’s Financial Services Agency: Crypto exchanges and other institutions must stop using images of identity documents for verification”
After news like this breaks, I ask three questions about capital flows:
1. Are large orders skewed toward buying or selling?
2. Is trading volume for $BTC (24h: $1.571 billion) continuing to increase?
3. Are large amounts of funds moving on-chain into trading platforms?
Only when all three point in the same direction has the news been validated by capital flows; otherwise, it’s probably just a passing gust.
Different people in different positions can interpret the same news in completely different ways.
