My long position, $STAR , is underwater. Last night, my maximum unrealized loss came close to 60 bucks. My returns have been unstable these past few days because I’m holding for the medium to long term rather than chasing small gains. There are ups and downs along the way, but as long as I can stay profitable overall and compound at an average of 1% a day, that’s enough.
The good thing about holding positions for the medium to long term is that I don’t have to watch the market all the time, so it’s less tiring. The downside is that if I get the direction wrong and run into a major one-way move, I might not be able to hold on and could get liquidated. All I can do is manage my position size carefully and be more patient 🙏🏻
My medium- to long-term approach is starting to show results. I hope I can keep it up.
