Securitize (NYSE ticker: SECZ) announced on October 8 the launch of Securitize Stocks. The initial offering brings 12 U.S. stocks—Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Google, Tesla, Meta, Amazon, Netflix, Circle, SpaceX, Strategy, and Palantir—to on-chain trading on $SOL as tokenized securities, with settlement in $USDC . The tokens correspond 1:1 to the underlying stocks, retain dividend rights and any applicable voting rights, and are matched through the company’s registered broker-dealer platform. Jump Trading will serve as market maker. Trading hours will initially be extended, with 24/7 trading planned for the future.
The company said the products may eventually connect to the NYSE’s planned 24/7 digital trading venue and to a tokenized securities venue jointly developed by OKX and ICE. Neither venue is live yet; launch will depend on the venues becoming operational and meeting regulatory and operational requirements. Eligible investors must complete compliant account onboarding, including KYC/AML checks. The service is available in the United States, the European Union, and other approved jurisdictions. Clearing and custody will connect through traditional securities infrastructure providers such as RQD, and the underlying stocks will not be lent out. Unlike synthetic exposure that merely tracks share prices, Securitize Stocks emphasizes a securities ownership structure. Binance Spot previously listed SECZB, a tokenized security related to Securitize, but it is separate from this on-chain U.S. stock product line and should not be confused with it.
