Sat down to recap the week—and I have to say, this was definitely not a week you wanted to miss📌.
$BTC was trading around $84–86K at the start of the week, with sentiment at “greed” (the index was around 70–71), whereas a week earlier the market was fearful. $ETH followed suit, rising moderately.
The main technical event: on October 6, Glamsterdam went live on the Sepolia testnet—an Ethereum upgrade described as the biggest since The Merge.
Institutional flows were interesting, too: spot BTC ETFs saw $2.4 billion in inflows in the week leading up to September 25—the most since October 2025—while ETH ETFs brought in nearly $690 million.
What this means for the weekend:
— October has historically been a “good” month for $BTC —in 10 of the past 13 years, it posted gains, although that’s a statistic, not a guarantee for this particular year;
— “Greed” sentiment usually means a greater willingness to buy any dip, so the weekend could be livelier than usual;
— the Fed meeting on October 28 is still ahead, so keep in mind that this week’s calm may not last through the end of the month.
This isn’t investment advice or a forecast—just a recap of the week.
How was your week—did you hold your positions calmly, or was there anything to sell or buy more of?👇
