Gold has climbed back to 4,200. We’re continuing to hold our long positions. Our medium-term strategy remains unchanged. We’re bullish on gold reaching 4,700 later on.
Honestly, this rally has been pretty steady—not the kind of wild surge-and-crash action that makes you nervous. In fact, it’s reassuring. Just look at how global central banks are still buying gold, while safe-haven demand remains strong. And with expectations of Fed rate cuts growing, gold’s fundamentals really haven’t changed. For those of us trading the medium term, the biggest risk is not being able to hold on—wanting to sell as soon as prices rise a little, or panicking when they dip. But looking back, hasn’t every pullback been a chance to get in?
The 4,700 target isn’t just a number we pulled out of thin air; it’s based on both technical and macroeconomic factors. Of course, we’ll get there one step at a time, and there will certainly be some volatility along the way. But as long as the overall direction hasn’t changed, neither will our strategy. If you’re already in a position, hold steady. If you haven’t entered yet, wait for a pullback and scale in gradually. Don’t chase prices or go all in. Stay calm. Let’s take a longer-term view of this gold rally.
