Binance spot trading fees are 0.1% by default, or 0.075% when paid in BNB. For futures (USDⓈ-M), maker fees are 0.02% and taker fees are 0.05%. This article breaks down the different types of fees and explains three ways to reduce them in practice. (These are the standard VIP 0 rates for regular users as of October 2026. Check Binance’s [Fees] page for the exact rates.)
▍Binance Fees at a Glance (VIP 0)
• Spot maker / taker: 0.1% / 0.1%
• Spot + payment in BNB (25% discount): 0.075% / 0.075%
• USDⓈ-M futures maker / taker: 0.02% / 0.05%
• USDⓈ-M futures + paying with BNB (10% discount): 0.018% / 0.045%
• Crypto deposits: Free
• Crypto withdrawals: A fixed fee applies for each coin and network (shown on the withdrawal page)
▍What’s the difference between makers and takers?
A maker order is a limit order that rests in the order book before it is filled. A taker order immediately matches with an order already in the book, as with a market order.
Spot maker and taker rates are the same, but the futures taker rate is 2.5 times the maker rate. For example, opening and closing a 1,000 USDT futures position with market orders costs 0.05% × 2 = 1 USDT in fees. Using limit orders for the same trades reduces the fee to 0.02% × 2 = 0.4 USDT.
▍Deposit and withdrawal fees
Binance does not support KRW deposits or withdrawals. Buy crypto on a domestic exchange, then transfer it to Binance.
• Deposit: Binance does not charge a fee. You only pay the withdrawal fee charged by the sending exchange.
• Withdrawals: Fees vary by network. Even for the same USDT, ERC-20 is expensive, while TRC-20 usually costs around 1 USDT.
• Use a supported network: Only use a network supported by the recipient. If you send funds over a network that the domestic exchange does not support, it may be difficult to recover your assets.

▍3 ways to reduce fees
1. Sign up with the referral code BNBKR
Enter BNBKR in the [Referral ID (optional)] field on the sign-up page to get 20% of your spot trading fees back. Referral codes can usually only be entered during sign-up, so entering one then is the surest option.

2. Pay fees with BNB
On the [Dashboard] or [Profile → Fees] page, turn on “Pay fees with BNB.” This gives you a 25% discount on spot fees and a 10% discount on futures fees. You need to have some BNB in your account for the discount to apply. If your BNB balance runs out, the regular rates apply again.
3. Use limit (maker) orders
Unless you need to trade immediately, use limit orders. This is especially effective for futures, where the difference between maker and taker fees is significant.
Using methods 1 and 2 together brings your effective spot trading fee to about 80% of 0.075%, or approximately 0.06%. If you trade a lot each month, your VIP tier may rise based on your 30-day trading volume and BNB holdings, lowering your base rate as well.
▍Frequently asked questions
Where can I check my fee rate? In the app, tap [Profile] → [Fee Tier] to see your current VIP tier and rates.
When and how do I receive the referral discount? The fee isn’t reduced when you trade; instead, you get it back as a referral reward. You can check your payment history in [Rewards Hub] or on the [Referral] page.
Are futures fees discounted too? Futures discounts depend on your referral code settings. Check what discount applies on the [Referral] page after signing up.
▍What you should know
Binance is an overseas exchange and is not a domestic virtual asset service provider registered with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). It does not support KRW deposits or withdrawals, and domestic exchange user protection measures do not apply. Because futures trading uses leverage, you could lose your entire margin.
