🔥 $SUI: From $0.81 to $1.18! But I spotted an even more dangerous signal…
What’s the most brutal thing about altcoins?
It’s not missing out on a rally. It’s finally giving in and chasing the price after it’s already risen—only for the market to start pulling back.
SUI has recently become a case worth studying.
📊 From around $0.814 on September 18 to around $1.18 on October 6, it gained roughly 45% during that period.
But then the price pulled back sharply.
So here’s the question: Is this a shakeout by large players, or are funds starting to exit?
I’m mainly watching three indicators:
🔍 First: Is there anything unusual happening with OI?
A falling price and declining OI could mean that leveraged longs are starting to exit.
But if the price keeps falling while OI continues to rise, be alert to a strengthening bearish trend.
🔍 Second: Is there a divergence in CVD?
Suppose the price keeps making new lows, but aggressive selling gradually weakens—or buying starts absorbing the selling pressure. That’s when a potential reversal is worth investigating.
🔍 Third: Is the rebound supported by trading volume?
A rebound on low volume is often unreliable. What’s truly worth watching is a high-volume reclaim of key market structure, followed by a successful retest.
⚡ My take:
The most important question to study with SUI right now isn’t “How much higher can it go?” but whether it can form a new uptrend after this correction.
I’d only consider looking for an opportunity if the 1-hour chart turns bullish again and the 15-minute chart shows a valid breakout and retest.
If key lows continue to give way, I’d rather miss out than blindly try to catch a falling knife.
Remember: Altcoins making explosive gains is nothing unusual. The hard part is getting in at the right time.
👇 Do you think SUI has another rally in it, or have expectations already been priced in?
