#比特币跌破8.1万美元 Title: BTC is down just 0.38%, while ETH and SOL have fallen 2.76% and 4.04%, respectively: This isn’t a broad-based recovery—it’s capital “reducing risk”

The most important thing to watch today isn’t whether BTC rebounds, but who is buying into the rebound.

BTC is currently trading at around 82,371 USDT, down just 0.38% over 24 hours. ETH and SOL, however, have fallen 2.76% and 4.04%, respectively. A relative-performance gap of more than 2–3 percentage points among major coins suggests that capital is favoring BTC, which has the deepest liquidity and comparatively manageable volatility, rather than spreading back into higher-beta assets.

Market update:
BTC traded in a range of 80,394–83,283 USDT during the day. After recovering from its low, it has consolidated above 82,000 USDT over the past few hours, but has yet to return to its intraday high. ETH fell as low as 2,406 USDT and SOL as low as 105.71 USDT. Although both have moved off their lows, their weaker performance relative to BTC has yet to turn around.

Key topic today:
According to data compiled by OpenNews, U.S. spot BTC ETFs saw net outflows of around $244 million on October 8 (U.S. Eastern Time), while ETH ETFs recorded net outflows of around $72.54 million. The combination of spot-fund outflows and weakness in altcoins explains why BTC has stabilized while market risk appetite has yet to genuinely recover.

Zhi Lang believes BTC’s short-term outlook is that a rebound needs confirmation, while the overall bias remains bearish.

BTC’s relative resilience has given the market some breathing room, but as long as ETH and SOL continue to underperform, BTC’s stabilization alone cannot be taken as a sign that risk has broadly dissipated. What matters next is not watching a single rebound candlestick, but whether BTC can hold above 82,000 USDT, whether ETH can halt its relative decline, and whether ETF fund flows improve and turn from net outflows.

If BTC holds steady while altcoins continue to weaken, would you see that as BTC acting as a defensive asset, or as a brief liquidity reprieve before another leg down?
