Musk and Bezos haven’t exactly seen eye to eye for over 20 years. 🤣

One founded SpaceX, the other Blue Origin.
From rockets and launchpads to commercial spaceflight, the two companies have been competing head-to-head every step of the way—and neither is willing to back down.

But here’s the interesting thing—

Truly capable people can recognize each other’s abilities, even if they don’t like each other.

Bezos once said that he didn’t know Musk personally, but judging by what he’s accomplished, building Tesla and SpaceX shows that he must be an exceptionally capable leader.

More than 20 years later, both men have gone from “crazy entrepreneurs” to people who are changing the rules of the world.

I’ve come to believe more and more that:

You can be rivals in business without dismissing each other’s ideas.
The truly strong aren’t afraid to acknowledge someone else’s strength.

The same goes for investing.
Just because you believe in one sector doesn’t mean you have to put another one down.

In the end, the market doesn’t reward the person who talks the toughest. It rewards those who keep delivering over the long term.
