Doubled my account in a week, wrecked it in three days 😂
I need to remember this pain and burn it into my memory!
Didn’t I have it coming?
A string of wins made me loosen my risk limits again. Doubling my account in a week was too slow? Could I do it again in just three days?
Absolutely foolish!
The pain of breaking the rules is the harshest teacher!
These few trades took 1,200u from me. I’d better take away something from this, right?
First: A hard limit on risk per trade. No one—not even the king of heaven—will get me to loosen it again!
Second: Jumping the gun always leads to a trap. Even if you get the direction right, a bad entry can still get your position stopped out!
Third: The market can give you a signal without giving you an entry. Who cares about the volatility!
I believe I’m not alone. Whoever manages to completely correct this mistake will survive. Let’s keep each other going 😎
