$BTC has returned to 82,000 USD, while $ETH TH is approaching 2,500 USD. But ETFs are still seeing net outflows, and a rebound needs confirmation from returning capital.

As of 13:12 Beijing time on October 9, Binance’s price page showed $BTC at around 82,305 USD, with a 24-hour low of 80,337 USD. In this check, CoinMarketCap quoted $ETH at around 2,490 USD. Prices have moved off their lows; whether they can hold the rebound is the next question.

Spot ETF flows for the U.S. trading day on October 8:
・$BTC saw net outflows of 244.1 million USD.
・$ETH saw net outflows of 72.5 million USD.
・Combined outflows totaled 316.6 million USD.
・$ETH has now seen net outflows for 8 consecutive trading days.

Outflows narrowed compared with the previous day, but have not yet turned into net inflows.

Overnight, the Nasdaq fell 1.25% and the S&P 500 fell 0.47%. Rising oil prices are adding to inflationary pressure, which could limit room for rate cuts. Risk assets still face valuation pressure. (reuters.com)

My assessment: A short-term recovery is underway, but a stronger trend still needs confirmation. Next, watch whether $BTC can hold above 82,000 USD, whether $ETH can stay above 2,500 USD, and whether ETF flows continue to turn positive.

Can this rebound get a fresh wave of capital behind it?
