PPP prediction market tool monitoring shows that the odds on Polymarket that “Gemini 4.0 will be released before October 9” fell to 3%, down 47% in 24 hours.

If Google officially releases Gemini 4.0 before the deadline and makes it available for public use, including through a public beta or an open rolling waitlist, the market resolves to “Yes”; otherwise, it resolves to “No.”

Gemini 4.0 must be released explicitly under that name or officially identified as the next-generation model after Gemini 3. Versions such as Gemini 3.0 Flash and Gemini 2.5 do not qualify.

Closed testing, private access, and models that have not actually been released do not count. If Google’s official website explicitly labels a version as eligible and the public can access it, it is also considered an official announcement.

Settlement is based primarily on official Google information, with consensus among credible media reports as a reference.
