【Market Update】On Thursday, Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission finalized new rules for crypto ETFs, allowing $BTC and $ETH trading funds to list on the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s main board. Initially, only two funds—Bitcoin and Ethereum—will be permitted.
The new rules will take effect on October 16. Crypto ETFs may be listed exclusively on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, while depositary receipts linked to overseas crypto ETFs are not yet permitted. Regulators have also approved mutual funds and private funds investing in domestic crypto ETFs, whereas previously they could invest only in overseas products. Brokers may not offer margin loans for purchases, and fund assets must be held by licensed digital-asset custodians.
This means Thai investors will soon be able to gain direct exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum through their stock accounts. #比特币 #ETF #Crypto Market
