BNB Chain has become one of the biggest winners in the tokenized stock market.
As of October 8, BNB Chain accounted for around 41% of the market cap of tokenized stocks tracked.
Around 1.8 million addresses held tokenized stocks on-chain, including 187,000 addresses with holdings worth more than $10.
In January this year, the entire tokenized stock market was worth only around $700 million. By September, it had surpassed $3 billion—more than quadrupling in size.
I think BNB Chain’s rapid growth comes down mainly to two factors: Binance’s user base and low on-chain transaction costs.
