RLC is up today, but down when priced in Bitcoin? The official market data I retrieved at the same time may not even be from the same day. Reading this comparison of gains and losses as a market divergence would be premature—the data isn’t aligned yet.

At 11:07 a.m. Beijing time on October 9, Binance spot RLCUSDT showed a rolling 24-hour change of +36.7%, while RLCBTC returned -11.8%. Looking only at the trading pair names and percentage changes, it might seem that RLC had strengthened against the dollar but weakened against Bitcoin. These were the values returned when I checked; market conditions may have changed since.

However, the RLCUSDT data was current through 11:07 a.m. on October 9, while the RLCBTC data was current only through 12:50 p.m. on October 6. The latter’s measurement window began on October 5 and didn’t cover today’s rally at all. A successful response to a request made today doesn’t mean the trade data it contains is up to date.

I couldn’t retrieve RLCBTC’s trading status, so I can’t conclude that trading was halted or the pair was delisted. But this is enough to rule out using these figures as proof that RLC moved in opposite directions under the two quote currencies today.
