Over the past 24 hours, 194,218 people across the market were liquidated, for a total of $1.202 billion. ETH alone accounted for $283 million in liquidations, while BTC saw $184 million. The biggest single liquidation happened on Hyperliquid: one trader lost $19.98 million on an ETH position—nearly $20 million, gone in a single trade.
Looking at the long/short data, $725 million in long positions were liquidated over 12 hours, compared with just $121 million in shorts. That means that over the past half-day, it was mainly people betting on prices going up who got wiped out—they had the direction wrong. But look at the past hour: $10.99 million in shorts were liquidated, versus just $1.4 million in longs. That shows the market just made a sharp move upward, and short sellers started getting liquidated.
In short, the market is sweeping both sides back and forth, so don’t assume you’re safe just because you’re long or short. Behind those $1.2 billion in liquidations are 190,000 accounts, each losing an average of over $6,000. Don’t hold on to losing positions, don’t overleverage—staying in the game matters more than anything.#IMF称代币化市场仍小且碎片化
