$ZRO Broke out of a downtrend channel after nearly 2 years of sustained decline. A breakout has now been confirmed, following either a descending broadening wedge or a falling wedge pattern, depending on how you identify it.

Many people have been saying that ZRO is rising because LayerZero’s TVL nearly doubled in the past 24 hours, climbing from over $7B to $11B.

However, that’s not the whole story: LayerZero’s TVL has been steadily increasing over the past 30 days. In addition to solid accumulation, there’s also some positive news you can read more about:

- Buybacks funded by Stargate revenue. The official dashboard shows that around 2.54 million ZRO have been bought back, at a total cost of nearly $3.68 million. It’s not a huge amount, but it’s still a positive catalyst for ZRO.

- Next is ATLAS, a trading infrastructure platform introduced by LayerZero on 25/08/2026 and built on the Zero blockchain. Under the Open ATLAS model, 75% of the fees remaining after rebates to trading operators will be used to buy and burn ZRO.

- Most recently, on 21/09, Anchorage Digital announced that it had chosen LayerZero as its interoperability partner for bank-issued stablecoins. This news reinforces the idea that LayerZero is expanding its use cases in institutional financial infrastructure, rather than focusing solely on transactions between blockchains.

ZRO could backtest the breakout area around $1.70–$2 and continue its recovery. However, this still depends on the broader market trend. Holders with a good position in ZRO may feel more confident holding in light of this news. Any ZRO holders here?
