$PEPE and $TURBO are both down about 4.9%, but the gap between their current bid and ask quotes differs by more than a factor of two. As of 10:20 Beijing time, over a rolling 24-hour period, PEPE’s spread was about 0.26%, compared with about 0.11% for TURBO. Similar losses only mean the prices at the two ends of the window are close; they don’t mean the two markets’ quotes are equally tight. This spread reflects only the best bid and ask quotes at the time of sampling; it does not represent the entire order book or your actual execution. Next time, put the two assets’ losses and spreads on the same line, and first check whether PEPE’s spread is still wider.
