$BTC took another leg down tonight, hovering around 81,000, while ETH fell straight below 2,500. About 80% of coins are down over the past 24 hours, yet the Fear & Greed Index is still at 59. Greed hasn't faded, which suggests this isn't a crash—it's a shakeout.

The major coins have actually fallen by varying amounts: BTC is down 2%, ETH 4%, and BNB and SOL 5–6%. The further out you go, the more fragile things get. SOL is down to just 109, a notable level: it surged hard before, and it's also seen the sharpest pullback. The on-chain whale is even more interesting: a long position of over 28,000 ETH was liquidated, but they still have $195 million worth of ETH longs and haven't budged. When a player of that size gets swept out and keeps adding, I don't need to spell out the direction.

The gainers are playing by a different set of rules. OGN surged more than 80% in a day, with JCT and RLC following suit—a clear sign that funds are looking for opportunities outside the majors. On the news front, USV raised a new $900 million fund to invest in AI and robotics, while Meanwhile secured $37 million for life insurance. Money is still flowing into the market; it's just not going into Bitcoin.

My take: I'm leaning bullish at this level. It feels more like a shakeout than a shift to a bear market. If BTC can hold around 81,000 without breaking below 80,000, that's an opportunity to get in, with 85,000 as the first target. I'd be willing to buy ETH at 2,480. If it breaks below 2,400, I'll admit I'm wrong—that's the one line of risk.
