There’s really not much to review today. I’ve scrolled up and down the top gainers list, and there’s only one name worth mentioning—and even that one looks a bit off.
Three hours ago, $RLC was still sitting on this list at +28%. Now it’s at +27.74%—the number has barely moved, but the underlying picture has changed completely: a 24-hour range of 66.51%, with price lurching up and down by more than half its range throughout the day, only to end up stuck at the 45% mark. In other words, it’s already retreated from the high back into the lower half of the range. More telling still: it’s down 1.34% over the last hour and 0.87% over the last four, while volume is down to just 0.56 times the daily average. The gain is what the leaderboard shows; drifting lower on shrinking volume is what it’s actually doing. With a range that wide and so much of the net gain still showing, you can probably guess who’s been taking from whom during all those swings. If you chased the green numbers, you’re probably seeing it by now: candlesticks are a lot more honest than gainers lists.
I’m staying out of setups like this. I’m waiting for one signal: volume picking up again, and price reclaiming the upper half of the range. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll keep watching from the sidelines. No matter how lively the leaderboard gets, it’s someone else’s party.

These are fishkeeping notes, not investment advice. How deep the pool is—you’ll have to get in and find out for yourself.
