When I place an order on the order page and set a stop-loss of a few dozen U, it feels perfectly normal. That’s what stop-losses are for, right?
It’s only after I close the app that I realize a few dozen U could pay for several meals I’ve been craving, a taxi ride without a second thought, or some fruit—or even let me live comfortably for a few days. But in my account, it’s just a number. Losing it doesn’t hurt, and winning it doesn’t excite me either.
Sometimes I really wonder: after trading for so long, have I become numb to money?
