💎 The TON Foundation has removed the liquidity from the tokens that won the competition
MemeRepublic a year ago and sold the tokens using DCA. A year ago, the Foundation invested 123.7k Gram (~$208,000) and now has received 83.1k Gram (~$120,000) back.
Timeline
• UTYA and LAMBO win MemeRepublic. According to the rules, $50,000 is allocated for buybacks and $50,000 for liquidity for each.
• In November 2025, the Foundation allocated 123.7k Gram (~$208,000) for token buybacks and liquidity. The Foundation did not lock the liquidity.
• On January 20, 2026, the Foundation withdrew liquidity from both pools and, minutes later, returned it from new wallets (UTYA, LAMBO).
• In September 2026, the Foundation began withdrawing liquidity and selling tokens in parts via DCA, then via market orders.
• All 102 million LAMBO have already been sold (20% of the supply). 40% of the UTYA position has been withdrawn, with sales happening once per week.
• The Foundation still has ~$150,000 in the UTYA pool. UTYA is being sold at 3.7x the purchase price, while LAMBO was sold at 91% below the purchase price.
• The profits of 38.2k Gram were transferred to a multisig wallet and sent to Hipo staking.
