My friend asked me today: $RLC 4 hours, has the MACD crossed (golden cross) — can I hop on the train?
I told him three things from the heart:
1. This is a golden cross above the zero line. It’s a golden cross within the trend, and it’s not light on significance;
2. The MACD is a bit slow to react. By the time the crossover forms, the price has already moved a bit;
3. Don’t look at just one indicator—also look at volume and support/resistance.
