① Close: if price breaks through during the session it doesn’t count; only when the close is above 1.1 is it considered a real breakout.
② Pullback: when the price retraces to around 1.1, can it hold? If it can, then resistance becomes support.
③ Volume: during the breakout, is the volume expanding? If there’s little to no volume, it’s easier for the move to be pulled back.
