$GS
This thing has recently done something I haven’t seen since April—a break below this year’s opening price. It happened once yesterday, and again this morning. GS was up 31% in July, but now it’s down to just 0.2%. In 85 days, it ate up 99.4% of the gains. After historical climbs of more than 25%, it has never given back more than a third—this year is the exception. The last time it was this bad was 2007; after that, everyone knows what happened. This isn’t a normal pullback—it’s like a warning that a financial pipeline is leaking 😏
