Bitcoin dropped from $87K to nearly $81K and things are getting interesting
I’ve been watching the recent market movements and honestly this doesn’t look like just another whale dumping BTC
There are multiple things happening at once Nearly $485M flowed out of Bitcoin ETFs on October 7
Ethereum ETFs also recorded around $161M in outflows
Leveraged long positions are getting liquidated
Around $1B worth of government linked Bitcoin moved between wallets
That last part is getting a lot of attention But here’s something worth understanding Just because a whale or government wallet moves Bitcoin doesn’t mean they’re selling it The coins reportedly moved to unidentified wallets rather than directly to exchangesSo calling it a $1B Bitcoin dump would be misleading
Now let’s talk about price
BTC has fallen roughly $6000 from the $87K area$83K is the first level I’d watch for a recovery $85K to $87K could become serious resistance$80K is an important psychological level If $80K breaks with strong selling pressure we could see another wave of liquidations But if buyers step in and BTC reclaims $83K with real spot volume things could start looking different One thing I’ve learned from watching crypto markets is that the biggest moves often happen when everyone is positioned on the same side
And right now fear is building fast Personally I’m not rushing to call the bottom or predict another crash I’d rather watch spot volume open interest and whether buyers actually defend these levels Because a bounce doesn’t always mean a recovery And a crash doesn’t automatically mean the bull market is over
What do you think
Are we seeing a healthy market correction or the beginning of something much bigger
