The emotions reflected in tonight’s leaderboard are rather speculative: the ones going up rely on a surge in volume to rush higher, while the ones falling see heavy-volume selloffs. The 24-hour amplitudes of the three coins are all above 24%—none of them are moving calmly. Funds are clearly rapidly rotating in and out of a small number of coins, and the game-like feel is very strong.

$GTC is the most solid one tonight. In the past 24 hours it’s up +17.21%, with the price sitting in the upper 78% of its range. In the most recent hour it also surged another +8.56%, and volume has expanded to 2.33 times the average. The $86.5M trading volume is also the highest among the three. Volume and price move in sync—this looks like real capital pushing it, not a low-volume “fake” rise.

Don’t be distracted by $CTSI ’s +14.98%. Its amplitude has jumped to 42.72%. The current price is only at about the 38% position in the range, which suggests that after the spike upward, most of the gains were sold back down. Over the last 4 hours it’s still -9.02%. The good part is that in the last hour it rebounded +5.47% on a 3.36x volume spike—so it’s not a low-volume counter-rally. But the position is too poor; it looks more like a long squeeze between longs and shorts after a brutal selloff. Whether it can reclaim the previous high isn’t visible in the data.

$LYN is even uglier. The -22.61% is only the surface. The current price is basically hugging the 24-hour floor (around the 4% position in the range). In the last hour it keeps increasing volume while selling down, down another -9.15%. Volume is 5.4 times the average. It’s making new lows and paired with huge volume—this is panic selling in progress, with no sign of a stop.

The structure right now is very fragmented: one side is pushing to the highs with rising volume, while the other side is smashing down to the floor with rising volume, with no transition zone in between. In this situation, I’d rather wait for two signals: first, when does the volume on the selloff side shrink; second, can the volume–price relationship on the spike side hold up while it’s still near the highs. Until those answers show up, I’ll just observe—no rush to draw conclusions.
