Break down the contract order book: amount, price, and position
Before the price speaks, leverage should shut up first.
The contract only recognizes three sets of numbers—everything else is noise.
1. BTC 80766, 24h 80394-83606, change -3.00%.
2. BTC open interest notional 7.55 billion USD, 24h -5.22%
3. Long/short ratio for the whole account 1.86
My take: the fee rate 0.0024% is close to zero; with a long/short ratio of 1.86, leverage hasn’t picked a side. If it hasn’t picked a side, don’t use high leverage to help it pick one.
Execution ranges (based on current price ± structure, not the old chart):
- Breakout zone: once it stands above 81,412, then talk about chasing; if it doesn’t, it’s a fake breakout
- Pullback entry: 79,797-80,281; if it breaks below, don’t take it
- Abandon zone: if the 1h closes below 79,312, this trade is not done
My position: don’t catch the first knife. Before the drawdown has translated into a drop in open positions, longs on the left are just catching flying knives.
Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance USDT-margined / Yahoo daily (5-day gains/losses). Missing numbers won’t be filled in.
At the pullback levels, will you place your orders—or wait for the candle to close?
