Just write a couple of lines pre-market for US stocks

First, read the US stock numbers out loud, then decide whether to follow the crypto market.

Set the numbers on the board first, then talk about viewpoints.

S&P 7,749 (5-day +1.08%, Yahoo)
Gold 4,146 (5-day -0.26%, Yahoo)
US Dollar Index 102.26 (5-day +0.09%)

My take: S&P +1.08%, Nasdaq +1.19%—the indices haven’t split. If they haven’t split, don’t make up a sector story; wait for the next big volume candle.

Crypto cross-check: BTC 80,874 (24h -3.25%), ETH 2,417 (-6.03%). ETH’s -6.03% over 24h is weaker than BTC’s -3.25%. FX rate: 0.02989. Funds are shrinking into BTC; altcoins on the right side should wait and watch.

What to look at next: VIX is now 15.53. If it breaks above 18, I’ll cut contract positions in half—no arguing with US stock closing prices.

My position: Don’t catch the first knife. Until the drawdown has translated into a reduction in holdings, the left side is just catching flying knives.

Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance U-margined / Yahoo daily (5-day up/down). If some numbers are missing, don’t fill them in.
Are you currently on the sidelines waiting for a retest, or already on the train?

Supporting evidence: Out there, people are discussing “"bitcoin OR stock market OR US stocks" - Google News”. I’m only using it as background—the conclusion is still based on the numbers in the main text.

Personal views—the numbers come from the sources in the main text. Not an order to place trades.
