$KORU on Sunday I started to short. It feels great not to catch any falling knife. Next week the overall direction is still bearish. Try not to attempt to catch any falling knife

Bullish
$KORU over the next 3 days: first it will surge high, then pull back. On Monday, Korea won’t be open, but the US stock market will open normally, and KORU will still follow Nvidia and the semiconductor sector. So I think on Monday it can keep pushing higher; around 23 is quite likely to be reached. If it’s stronger, it could go to 23.3–23.5.
This earlier KORU rally was too fast. The issue is that Korea itself isn’t that strong—SK Hynix and Samsung haven’t followed with the same level of momentum, and foreign capital hasn’t clearly been rushing in either. So a lot of good news has already been priced in at this current price.
After Korea reopens on Tuesday, this gap will start to show. The portion KORU rose earlier that was driven by US stocks will start to give back. I’m looking at 22.2 first, then around 21.3.
By Wednesday, Samsung’s earnings report is getting closer. Funds that have already made money earlier will be more willing to exit first, and KORU will likely be pushed down further. My outlook is: around 22.6 it will first spike up to 23.1–23.5 for a bit, then it will start to fall—back to 22.2, and then later look around 21.3.
I won’t chase it into shorting right at the current level. I’d rather wait for it to finish this last upward push, then make my move.
