A single sentence sums up tonight’s board: hot money is passing the baton—back and forth—within itself. On the gainers list, both names are pushing right up against the top end of their range while expanding volume; the losers list is the opposite, quiet to the point of silence—so quiet it’s like nobody remembers it’s still alive. The ones chasing are chasing intensely, the ones lying down are lying down completely—there’s no third script in the middle.

$STRK —this round really does have volume behind it: 24-hour turnover is 121M, and in the past hour the volume jumped to 4.3 times the full-day average. The price is sitting at 92% of the range, and the buy side is real, step-by-step buying it up with genuine money—not painted on with thin volume. It’s just that at this level, the chasers need to think clearly: are you here to take the meat, or to help carry the sedan?

$SKL is even more interesting: its one-hour volume is 14 times the average. Sounds shocking, but the full-day turnover is only 16M. The float is small—so a little money can push it along. The current price is pegged at 96% of the range, and in the last hour it accelerated higher by another 6%. This kind of late-stage acceleration is the most lively moment—and also the easiest time for fast hands to end up being the last one in line. The “lively” part is truly lively; the “small base” is also genuinely small.

$TA tells a different story: down 20%, with a full-day amplitude of 40%, which clearly shows a real fight happened during the day. But now, its one-hour trading volume has shrunk to just 0.22 times the average, and the price is crouched at about 9% of the range, grinding slowly downward. This isn’t panic selling—panic is something you smash out with volume. This is “sell done, no one catches; those who wanted to run ran earlier, and what’s left is playing dead.”

Anyway, with a structure like this, I’d rather wait for two things: first, whether the volume on those two names in the gainers list can be sustained, and whether the high-level turnover is sufficient—don’t let it be that the drumbeats are only struck up to the last note; second, when the one on the losers side will release volume again—until you can’t see volume, just treat it as if it doesn’t exist. Observing isn’t embarrassing; it’s embarrassing only if you let the flower slip out of your hand.
