Third night in a row! The U.S. government has transferred another 12,000 BTC, totaling 18,400 BTC over three days

Around 21:30 tonight (Beijing time), the U.S. government address (labeled “Bitfinex Hacker Seized Funds” on Arkham) has transferred out 12,267 BTC again, worth about $1.01 billion. (Sources: Wu Blockchain, Lookonchain citing on-chain data from Arkham)

① This is the third consecutive night of operations at the same time. In the past 32 hours, they have transferred out a total of 6,215.7 BTC (about $520 million) + 119 million USDT + 40,285 BNB (about $31.63 million). Of this, all the BTC and USDT have gone into Coinbase Prime. (Source: Yu Jin EmberCN citing Arkham)

② In tonight’s transfer, 9,000 BTC (about $739 million) has already gone into Coinbase Prime. Over three days: more than 18,400 BTC, and chips worth over $1.5 billion, have entered the exchange channel.

③ Since the start of the transfers on the night of October 6, BTC has fallen from about 86,500 to around 82,500. Over three days, it dropped roughly $4,000 (about -4.6%). Entering Coinbase Prime doesn’t necessarily mean an immediate sell-off (there hasn’t been a waterfall in the first two nights), but with $1.5 billion worth of liquidity stacked at the door, the near-term upside overhead pressure is real.

Assessment: Transferring out at the same time every day is too consistent—it looks more like programmed reallocations than an urgent liquidation. But consistency doesn’t mean it’s harmless. BTC faces short-term pressure; don’t rush to catch a flying knife. Let this wave of funds get absorbed first, then reassess.
